If you’re Readin’ this, at one point in your life you picked up a book for the first time. Upon hearing the initial crack of the spine and taking in the warm, uniquely bookish aroma, you immersed yourself in a world created between letters and pages. Your first crush may have been a fictional baddie (gender-neutral) who is to blame for your (rightfully so) high standards today. That fictional crush prompted an involuntary flutter of the feet, followed with a fleeting giggle. At one point, you loved a book so much that you posted about it online for all of your adoring fans to see. Fans became friends; friends became family; family became COMMUNITY. 

We built Readin’ because, like you, some of our best connections have been built with a book between us. We came for the books and stayed for the community. There is nothing in this world like the bookish community; a space that fosters the desire to discover new worlds, create new stories, and inspire others to do the same. 

Readin’ was born from two readers, a Ke$ha-fueled anxiety dream, and not a speck of chill. We are made for readers by readers; built by the bookish community for the bookish community. Born in the comforting embrace of nostalgia and raised with the drive for creative change, Readin’ is a front row view of the world through the lenses of readers, writers, and innovators.
